We started back to school on the 27th August and welcomed back three familiar faces – Odhrán , Jack and Joey and four new faces – Seamus, Miley, Ollie and Zaid. We have a great new crew and are looking forward to a busy and fun year in Daffodil Class.
This month our theme was ‘ME’! We looked at ourselves in the mirror, put on different hats and glasses and laughed at our reflections. We made faces out of playdough and felt pieces. We read a lovely sensory story called ‘This is my Body’ and looked at some of our face and body parts. We talked about our families and made a family tree. We were busy doing all these things along with settling into a new routine and getting to know each other.
