Our theme for November was 'BIRDS'. We read a lovely story called Owl Babies and enjoyed exploring the associated props. He looked at leaves, twigs, feathers, nests and eggs. We went on some walks around the school looking and listening for birds and their nests. We made bird feeders with seeds, lard and yoghurt cartons and hung them up in the sensory garden. We watched as the birds came to the feeders and ate all the food on offer. We did some lovely art work based on birds. We also celebrated two brithdys this month, Happy Birthday Lila and Max.
