Happy St. Patricks Weekend!! βοΈ
Ash class have been busy preparing arts and crafts to send home to our loved ones for St. Patricks weekend. We made beautiful rainbows with our fingers which was lots of fun! π We also made cards as a means of expressing and communicating through visual art (PLU 5, 5.6). On Monday afternoon, we anticipated the Attention Autism Bucket which was a massive hit with the children especially Stage 3 the interactive projector (PLU 1, 1.12). On Tuesday, we had PE with Kerry and really pushed our steps up for our 'Run around Europe' challenge!! This week we made it to London and next we are on route to Paris, Denmark and Norway. πΆπΎπ In numeracy, we are still working hard on exploring and using familiar numbers. The children have also been using timers, countdowns and their visual timetables (Schedules) functionally (PLU 2, 2.14 and 2.29). β²οΈπ’ We really enjoyed some chill out time in the afternoons looking through our photo books and reflecting on the busy year we have had so far. It was amazing to see the children so engaged and interacting with the photos (PLU 3, 3.3 and 3.4). π On Thursday afternoon, we worked on our life skills, taking care of the immediate and local environment. The children sorted cutlery into trays and socks into the correct boxes (PLU 4, 4.29). π΄π§¦ There will be no cleaning or tidying to be done at home when this crew are around. Well done everyone on another super week, keep it up!!
