Today the children in Starling were very busy with their handwriting programme (Handwriting without tears).
We started off 'tapping big lines' and following along to all the actions in the song....tapping loud and soft.....playing a drum....playing the lines in the air....putting them on your nose and many more.
After we had done this song then we practiced building "Mat Man". We used big lines, little lines and curved lines to make his head and body.
We loved singing along to the words and following the instructions to complete him.
