Today we gathered to celebrate the remarkable achievements of he third cohort of pupils who have successfully earned their Gaisce Awards.
The Gaisce Bronze award symbolizes the holistic growth and the embodiment of values that extend far beyond the academic work being done in the classrooms. Our pupils work hard every day in all the do and we are grateful to be able to acknowledge his work with these awards.
One of the outstanding features of this cohorts Gaisce journey is their strong community link with St. Aidan's Comprehensive and the local tidy towns. This instils in the pupils the importance of giving back.
These pupils have excelled in achieving personal goals. The daily living skills room has become a place of learning for these awards. A new skill is worked on on a monthly basis.
In January, Gaisce will be passed on to the next group, who will inherit the responsibility of carrying on the community engagement, personal development and holistic growth. Congratulations once again to the pupils for their outstanding achievements in receiving the Gaisce Bronze awards.
