✨ Our annual Sounding the Senses artist residency is in full-swing at Holy Family Special School in Cootehill, Co. Cavan ✨
Each year we invite artists from the worlds of music, theatre, puppetry, storytelling & visual arts to present highly engaging sensory experiences for children across the autism and special care classes in the school.
This year, we are delighted to invite Rosán Sensory Adventures to the school with their beautiful piece Camp Everyone! In Camp Everyone! children find a clearing in the woods and set up a campsite, having adventures and warming themselves around the campfire. Night falls and the children snuggle up under a starry sky under the light of the moon, being woken in the morning by the sound of bird song.
Here’s a little insight into what’s happening all this week. We will introduce our other Sounding the Senses artists tomorrow so stay tuned!
